A Few Quotes

As I was driving into work this morning I couldn't help but think of this verse. Below it are several of my favorite quotes. I thought they might be fun to read; and I hope they are as encouraging to others as they are to me...

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Psalms 119:105

“I would rather be part of a small group with inner knowledge than part of a vast group with only intellectual knowledge. In that great day of Christ’s coming, all that will matter is whether or not I have been inwardly illuminated, inwardly regenerated, inwardly purified.” -A.W. Tozer

“Family is the most significant place where you live out your faith.” -John MacArthur

“Setting an example is not the main means of influencing others, it is the only means.” -Einstein

"One thing God has spoken, Two things have I heard: That you, O God, are strong, And that you, O Lord, are loving." Psalms 62: 11-12

“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good that I can do, or any kindness that I can show any human being, let me do it now, and not defer it; for I shall not pass this way again.” -Stephen Grellet

“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a naughty world.” William Shakespeare

“There are two types of people in this world. The sinners who deem themselves righteous, and the righteous who deem themselves sinners.” Blaise Pascal

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven,…” -Jesus of Nazareth in Matt. 6: 19,20

I have a ton of great quotes. I'll share more another day.
